Technicote Membership Card has the edge when it comes to affixed card applications
Built-in lift edge provides “universal” release from any side of card
Technicote is pleased to announce the launch of its new Technicote Membership Card polypropylene film base, a unique pressure sensitive coupon product designed for direct mail packages that require cards to be affixed to continuous forms or cut sheets. This exciting new product is the optimal solution for all varieties of affixed card applications used for fundraising, clubs, banks, and other membership oriented organizations.
The product consists of two thin layers of polypropylene film bonded together with a specialty dry-release adhesive. The film construction is then coated with Technicote’s TP170 adhesive and 40# SCK release liner. The familiar dry-release adhesive pattern of Technicote’s IRC film base has been incorporated into Technicote Membership Card, but modified to provide a tight release for successful converting and auto-dispense processes. The purpose of the tight release is to help prevent the film layers from separating prematurely. The pattern provides a built-in lift edge on all sides of the film, affording universal release from the form to which it is applied. Technicote Membership provides excellent durability during secondary laser printing processes; keeping the product intact as it becomes exposed to high temperatures during this operation. The product is suitable for flexographic printing, as well as signature compatible. Technicote Membership Card is stocked in Technicote’s Cuyahoga Falls, OH manufacturing plant for quick turnaround.
2010 Unified Wine & Grape Symposium
Technicote has capped off another successful showing at the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium. The leading wine industry trade show was January 27-28, 2010 at the Sacramento Convention Center. We would like to thank all our current and prospective customers who visited our booth. We were pleased with another record setting crowd that demonstrates the continued growth and strength of the wine labeling industry. Highlights from the show included distributing Technicote’s new 2010 Wine Label Brochure and launching our 100% PCW (post consumer waste) wine label product.
The 2010 Wine Label Brochure has been updated with the addition of a number of new textured papers and environmentally friendly options. However, the buzz of the show came from the interest and demand for Technicote’s new 100% PCW product that is priced at the same level as other Non-PCW sheets. Now you can go green without spending extra green.
